Drifting debut at Race of Champions

Professional drifting to debut at the Race Of Champions in Riyadh

Race Of Champions will feature a professional drifting competition for the first time next week when the annual motorsport extravaganza celebrates its 30th anniversary at the King Fahad Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (February 2/3).

The ROC Drift Challenge’s inclusion comes at a time when appearances alongside other mainstream motorsport events, such as Formula 1 and the Goodwood Festival of Speed, have helped fuel the high-octane discipline’s growing popularity around the world.

ROC’s unique ‘figure-of-eight’ parallel track and separate racing lanes deliver the short, sharp contests drifting is famed for, while the stadium environment ensures fans won’t miss a single twist or turn.
